Lovi provides a smart home control application. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app and services.
Account Information: When you sign in with Google, we collect your email address, name, and profile picture to create and manage your account.
Smart Home Data: We do not collect, process, or store your smart home data. Our servers only bridge the encrypted connection between your device and your smart home system. The data passes through our servers in transit but is never inspected, stored, or retained — it reaches your home entirely untouched.
Camera Access: We request camera access solely for scanning QR codes to invite members to your home. No images or video are captured or stored.
Your account information (email, name, role) is stored securely in our database. We do not store any smart home data — no device names, states, areas, automations, or sensor readings ever touch our storage. The communication between you and your smart home system is bridged in real-time and no data is retained.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data with third parties except as necessary to operate the service (e.g., Google OAuth for authentication, Cloudflare for secure tunneling). Your smart home data never leaves your own system.
All communications between the app, our servers, and your smart home system are encrypted via HTTPS and WebSocket Secure. Our servers merely bridge the connection — they cannot read, inspect, or modify the data flowing through. Your system access token is never exposed to the client app.
You can delete your account and the data associated with it at any time, directly from the app: open Settings, tap Delete Account, and confirm. You will be taken to lovi.life/profile/settings to complete the deletion, which permanently removes your account, name, email address and profile information. Your smart home device data remains on your own system and is not affected by account deletion.
